Neighborhood Spotlight: Marina del Rey
Marina del Rey is definitely a fun place to live and I have always thought of it as the Westside's sneaky gem! The Marina is obviously gorgeous but there is so much more to the neighborhood and it has even taken me some time to really appreciate it for what it is. Although we don't live in MDR, we are within minutes to what it has to offer. Here is what we love!
The laid back atmosphere, endless running and bike paths and trails, the ability to do your morning groceries on the weekend while looking out at the ocean and marina (that will never get old), accessibility to outdoor cafes and eateries right by the water. In the summer we live at the beach here as it tends to be more calm than the surrounding beaches. You just need to be patient as parking is... a challenge!
My husband loves to sail and the fact that he can be on a boat with friends within minutes of leaving our door step is pretty incredible.
There is so much more room for improvement and the area is only getting better from a real estate perspective and lifestyle perspective. It took me a while to come around to the community and now I am all in!

KazuNori never disappoints! I always opt to sit at the bar or grab my favorites to go and eat outside by the boats at sunset. Either way there is nothing more satisfying than their freshly made hand rolls, warm rice and fresh ingredients while admiring the view.

It was essential to them to remain in a vibrant, dynamic locale. We're currently in escrow on a stunning urban resort condo—a second home away from home for a sweet couple from Seattle. We love the spacious living area, private balcony with unbelievable views, and primary bedroom with amazing natural light. This couple is super excited about the Marina City Club's extensive amenities, including pools, tennis courts, and dining options. Having assisted both of their daughters in purchasing homes in Culver City, it's now time for these sweet grandparents to have a local pied-à-terre, allowing them to be closer to their grandkids more often.
